The Zero Emission Transportation Association is excited to welcome Dr. Fleming to the team as Policy Director for the organization’s Education Fund.
Fleming was previously at the Policy Institute for Energy, Environment, and the Economy at UC Davis, where she led policy analysis and research related to transportation and energy projects and authored several reports. She has also held fellowships at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and the Department of Energy.
“Kelly brings extensive policy and research experience to the ZETA team,” says Executive Director Joe Britton. “We’re thrilled to have someone with a deep technical understanding of the issues surrounding electrification, and we are confident that Kelly’s expertise will propel us forward to achieve our goals.”
Fleming holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Washington and a B.S. from the Colorado School of Mines.
ZETA brings together supporters of 100% electric vehicle sales by 2030. This diverse non-partisan group coordinates public education efforts and federal policy development to promote EV adoption with the goal of creating American electric vehicle manufacturing jobs, increasing consumer choice, improving air quality and public health, and reducing carbon pollution.
The Zero Emission Transportation Association (ZETA) is a federal coalition focused on advocating for 100% EV sales by 2030. Enacting policies that drive EV adoption will create hundreds of thousands of jobs, secure American global EV manufacturing dominance, drastically improve public health, and significantly reduce carbon pollution.
