The Zero Emission Transportation Association’s Executive Director, Albert Gore, celebrated usage of the new and used Clean Vehicle Tax Credits (§30D and §25E) in a statement today, following the release of new metrics by the Department of Treasury this morning. According to the Treasury Department, more than $1 billion in upfront financial benefits have been delivered since January 1, supporting more than 150,000 EV buyers. Treasury noted that 90 percent of new EV buyers and 80 percent of used EV buyers have opted to access the credits as a point-of-sale rebate.
